Christmas was wonderful as ever but as the over-indulgence starts getting everyone down and the only talk in the office circulates around points, sins, macrobiotic this and fat-free that I always get an over-whelming urge to skip a couple months to rejuvenating spring time.
Now is the time to look ahead and whilst we may still be wearing our winter coats there is nothing wrong with a little Sun kissed escapism of the mind.
Seventies styling seems to have been flitting about the imaginations of designers as they created their spring/summer and resort 2013 collections. This stunning double-breasted, flared, brilliant white trouser suit at Celine has me dreaming of strolling along the banks of the French Riviera.
These diaphanous wide legged trousers at Chloe teamed with the crochet knit delicate sweater seem so modern day Little House on the Prairie, I am in love with this laid-back, glamorous hippy-vibe.
Gucci had their very own blend of glamorously grown up seventies flair with low cut, floor length dresses and the most beautifully cut camel trousers.
I can barely wait till spring to start wearing this look so I’ll be sporting a colour palette of nudes and minks whilst lounging in plush cocktail bars waiting for the rain to subside. Here are some high-street items to get groovy in.
Sandals, Topshop
Bring on the sunshine, New buds and baby chicks… I am so over winter
